BURNING HATS
My journey started in 2022 with burning hats because I wanted to create a custom look for me. Not one everyone had. It's like each hat I created, my glow got bigger. Like the firefly glow I mention often.
Creating them is so fulfilling to me because it's like an art you created for someones personal style unique to them.

SMALL TOWN
Growing up in the middle of nowhere, in the midwest, near a small town in Indiana, I didn’t realize it then, but my love for Western fashion started young. Even back then, I loved playing dress-up and secretly wished my wardrobe had more cowboy boots and hats. It's not as common in the midwest. Boots I had but more work boots for taking care of livestock. Not the kind that are fun to dress up with outfits.
When I wasn’t playing around outside, I was in my room jamming out to Hannah Montana and belting my heart out to Carrie Underwood (she was my absolute favorite). Her music made me feel like I could take on the world.
Fast forward to my sophomore year of high school, and life took a wild turn—we moved to Texas. Suddenly, I was in the heart of Western culture. Seeing people embrace Western fashion every day gave me the confidence to finally wear what I had always loved but was too shy to try. I started building my wardrobe with classic / authentic Western pieces and finally go after my dream of blogging, and it felt like I was coming into my own firefly glow.
Then came the game-changer: Western burned hats. If you’ve seen one, you know they’re not just hats—they’re wearable art. I became obsessed with the process of burning and distressing hats to make each one a unique, personal statement piece. It was the perfect way to blend my love for tradition with my need for creativity.
Western fashion isn’t just about the clothes; it’s about the story they tell. Every piece I wear—whether it’s a burned hat, vintage boots, or a distressed denim jacket—feels like a little nod to my journey. From my small-town roots in Indiana to finding my style in Texas, it’s all a part of who I am. ✨🦋 And now, I’m here to share that passion with you.
