Yes, you can look cute and stay safe—your conceal doesn’t need camo.
There’s this myth floating around that if a woman wants to protect herself in public, she has to trade in her style for baggy jeans and a graphic tee to conceal carry.
Hard pass.
I believe you can step out in a cinched waist, bootcut jeans, and a felt hat and feel safe doing it. There’s a space—a small one right now—for women who want to blend personal protection with personal style, and that’s exactly where I’m planting my boots.
If you’re new here: I started sharing some “conceal fashion” outfit checks on TikTok recently—and they kind of took off. Apparently, I’m not the only woman who wants to feel both feminine and prepared.
This is the look for the fit and the holster is linked down further.
I used to be scared—like scan every aisle in Walmart kind of scared and worrying. Now I still scan but not worryingly…
One time, Logan stepped away for four minutes in the store and I found myself cornered by a fast-walking stranger coming in at me FAST. My heart raced, and I remember thinking, “I don’t want to live in fear. I want to be ready.”
I grew up around the concealed carry lifestyle. (My dad literally took me groundhog hunting from a playpen at 2—yes, really. Told me to “cover my ears” and I proceeded) But I know most women didn’t have that upbringing.
So I’m here to share what I wish more women knew: it’s not about looking intimidating. It’s about being intentional and protecting yourself if needed. We lived in a crazy time. And that doesn’t mean sacrificing your aesthetic.
It’s not just about owning one—it’s about owning the responsibility & protecting yourself.
01. You have to get trained.
Don’t just go buy it and figure it out later. That’s not safe, and it’s not smart.
Look for certified local classes or a nearby range with legit teachers. You want reps. Practice builds muscle memory and peace of mind.
02. What you wear matters.
You need a secure waistband. Bianchi Leather is my go-to for a reason: their suede inside-the-waistband holsters are the only ones I’ve worn that don’t poke or shift.
03. Belts are non-negotiable.
Even if you’re rocking a chic blouse, that waistband tool needs support. You can still tuck and layer with a belt underneath—it’s just about styling smart.
This was a popular look on Tik Tok everyone loved. Comfy. Cute. Casual.
Yes, I want you to feel safe. But I also want you to feel like you. That’s the heart behind this—bringing a little grit and a lot of grace into an area where not everyday women do this.
There’s no reason you can’t throw on a concho belt and a velvet duster, knowing you’re good to go for a photo shoot and a parking lot stroll. Let’s normalize that.
You don’t need to “look tough” to be prepared—you just need to know your stuff.
I’ll be sharing more looks on Instagram and TikTok (because yes, you can absolutely wear a fringe vest and still be fully ready). And while I keep things soft in the captions, just know—if you ever want the full scoop, my DMs are always open.
You deserve to feel beautiful, bold, and backed up. Let’s keep it cute and concealed. 🤠✨
