This whipped hot chocolate recipe is my go to for my sweet tooth nights! I know you will love this recipe as much as I do. Normally I have a huge sweet tooth before bed and this is a quick recipe that will satisfy you even in the summer time.
Ingredients:
5 TBS Heavy Cream
1/4th cup of melted chocolate chips (dark, milk, or semi sweet will do)
1/2 cup milk
pinch of salt
1 TBS of sugar ( you can use stevia or monkfruit as well)
Melt you chocolate chips in a small class bowl in the microwave or little counter oven. We only use a counter top oven and I add them in there about 3-5 minutes. Add the heavy cream to a mixing bowl or your KitchenAid mixing bowl. Then the milk, salt, sugar, vanilla. Last add the melted chocolate chips to the bowl and mix on medium-high for about 5 minutes. It will turn into a whipping cream. If you notice it seems to liquid like and not fluffing up at 5 minutes, just add 1-2 TBS more of heavy cream to the bowl. It really can depend on the milk you buy. Whole milk works best. The chocolate chips will stay in chunks which is how the recipe should be!
